Don't blame the canvas by elen89

A genuine Surrealist offering from this young artist. This unique work gets much less attention than her dragon and fantasy type works ...

Venus of the Sprawl by MisterBlackwood

This might seem like typical “bad boy” art at first, merely being irreverent and lashing out. However, I believe the artist shows compa...

Leopard Jumping Spider, Zebra by UncannyCanvas

I’m going to critique this one BEFORE reading the other critiques. [Incidentally, shhhh, spiders are forbidden on “getwatchers.”] First...

Big World by Mikemeadows91

Good composition and contrast between the hard lines and gradiated, soft background. The small figure next to the large structure makes...

Bare Knuckle Brawl (revised)
I revised this image in the last few days. I think it's more successful now.
The End Came Swiftly by Art-of-Eric-Wayne
The End Came Swiftly
This one is quite sci-fi, with a bit of a retro flavor. I did this working just from my imagination and with no preconceived idea. It’s an old technique of mine, and the same one I used in my charcoal drawings of more than twenty years ago. The title refers to the ending of the original film version of the War of the Worlds. After the Martian ships had defeated human armies, they succumbed to an illness from a bacteria. This movie made a huge impression on me when I was a kid. But in 2014, as Climate Talks are underway, our own species is poised on the brink of self-annihilation. It’s hard nowadays to think of the extinction of an intelligent species without our own civilization coming to mind.

I see a crashed, alien, biomechanoid, and the image occupies a territory somewhere between realism and abstraction.

Is it just me, or is dA a bit broken? Some of the notes and things don't want to send. It's been happening since yesterday.

Did you see the Lady Gaga? Also, check out my new blog if you have a chance. [link]

I moved Superman over there a few days ago, or so, and included your review.

Yeah I had a look at Gaga. Très en forme, whatever that means.

I had a look at your blog, too. I love that J Tree Bagovwiddles or whatever his name is. I'll have to have a proper read of it later.

Thanks for including my critique. I'm flattered.

I'm trying to start another Krappy Art World, but the group application is still in review since yesterday.
